Ellen has been more and more out about gay rights issues on her show, especially hate crimes, bullying in the schools and gay marriage. I am so proud of her for having Judy Shepard on the show. I hope they both talk about the fact that although this horrible crime happened 10 years ago, violence against gays and lesbians continues. It needs to start in our schools. Kids need to learn to respect one another and learn that gay bullying is unacceptable.
